The experience we aim to offer

We want someone new to Saju to find their Four Pillars and explore Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water at a comfortable pace. The reading invites questions about your experience rather than presenting a fixed destiny.

Trees, sunlight, mountains and water are visual metaphors for the symbolic relationships between characters. The guides can be read before entering any personal details, and revisited to understand the assumptions behind a result.

Calculation and interpretation are different

The stems and branches are calculated with the lunar-javascript engine. Korean regional coordinates and overseas GeoNames data provide representative longitudes and time zones. Korean lunar conversion uses the browser’s Dangi calendar. The birthplace-and-time guide explains time-zone history, mean solar time and the midnight day boundary.

Interpretation uses the site’s rules relating the calculated Day Master, elements and Ten Gods. It does not replace a professional consultation or a scientifically validated psychological assessment. Simple element counts do not establish a fixed destiny or a favorable element.

How the guides are written

The guides describe the implementation actually used here, including its limits. External calendar, location and time-zone sources are identified, and worked examples are checked against the calculation.

We focus on distinct questions—date conversion, elemental percentages, relationships and overseas birth times—rather than multiplying near-identical result pages. If you notice an error, report it without publicly sharing details you would prefer to keep private.

Free access and privacy

Google ads may appear on the service. Your analytics or advertising choices do not restrict the chart calculator. The privacy policy explains analytics, advertising and cookie choices.

Shared pages receive chart-type codes rather than the entered birth details. You decide whether to distribute a link; there is no need to publish a result you consider sensitive.
